Speaking
Marguerite has spent much of her life focused on communicating with others, in groups both large and small. She has been involved in theater and musical theater since the age of 12. Her passion, for teaching complex subjects and making them easy to understand, led her to become a tutor of math and science at 15 years old.
In the 1980’s, she was on the faculty of Northeastern University, College of Nursing, Boston MA; and later Kennesaw State University, College of Nursing, Kennesaw GA. Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 1981, she has precepted countless NP students in their final clinical practicum prior to graduation. In her work with churches,\; she has taught classes, led workshops, and conducted weekend retreats.
Miss Vardman is available to speak on end of life issues and new approaches to grief work to a variety of groups: Public Schools; Teen Centers; Women’s/Men’s Groups; Grief Support Groups; Disease-Specific Support Groups, (such as Cancer, AIDS, etc); Senior Centers; Nursing Homes and Rehab Facilities; Homecare and Hospice Agencies; Nursing, Medical, and other Healthcare Professional Schools; training programs for Chaplains, Ministers, and Therapists; and Continuing Education Programs for both professionals and lay persons.
